The opening match will take place on 8th June in Warsaw, the final on 1st July in Kiev. Nearly 1.5 million supporters are expected to be present at eight stadiums.
National teams of 16 countries, which later will be divided into four groups of four teams by a draw, will qualify to the Euro 2012.
Matches of two of the groups will be played in Poland, while of the remaining two in Ukraine. As a result, fans will not have to move from one country to the other earlier than the final match.
